It was hot in our area yesterday, and I left the house around 10:30 AM to
take care of several errands. I chose a black retro
style dress I purchased in 2020
and my Calvin Klein black patent slingbacks.
Before leaving, I also tried on my new black fur
jacket with the dress. I liked the way
these pieces worked together. I felt the pairing would work for a late lunch
or dinner given the proper weather scenario.

The dress selection is another example of an older piece that fits better after my weight loss.

Lately, I have been working any number of software issues related to
various sites and applications, including a token problem with one of my
Instagram applications (see here and here), a Wordpress issue with my real estate site, and the live sports scores on the
WiredPages Sports page. I am incurring a security handshake problem with the
sports scores feed and have
yet to find a solution that will not offend my web host.
In addition, I setup my new Amazon Shop and uploaded my first product (cake turntable) video for the shop.
That said, I have also been preoccupied with losing weight. I am having success and can see the difference in the old photos and videos versus the new. So much so, I wanted to delete a lot.
On the right, a screen recording of my Google Fit stats for today, May 17, 2026 right after completing my morning workout session. Since late February, I have been averaging between 15,000 to 19,000 steps per day.
Below, some of the new items I have added to my closets for Summer 2026 activities and vacation.
Recently, I also purchased a black evening fur jacket. I have been searching for this jacket for about 2 years and cannot believe I finally found the perfect fur to pair with many of my evening fall/winter outfits. This is the link for the jacket. I am about 140 lbs, 5'6" and ordered the small based on reviews.
I am very pleased with this jacket.

I took care of a couple of errands yesterday morning. I chose the high waisted tapered leg black slacks I purchased in 2024. The slacks are an off brand so I am not posting the link, however, I think the popular Zara brand should come to mind.
I paired the slacks with a plain black knit top and then layered with the olive open knit sweater, also purchased in 2024. I added brass jewelry including
doorknocker earrings and bracelet and finished the look with my Nine West Peni slingbacks.
As I have mentioned before, I love working out in biking shorts and
leggings. When I returned home, I put on a pair of the recently purchased
TNNZEET black leggings that I love. I also tried on a pair of the
biking shorts.
