I am always searching for non-colas I can drink anytime of the day. The problem? I am allergic to citric acid and most colas have citric acid. The other problem of course-- most have caffeine and I do not like drinking beverages with caffeine all day long.
Things I drink without citric acid:
- Cranberry Juice
- Homemade Iced Tea
- Apple Juice
- Grape Juice
- Espresso with cream and sugar
I also drink diet colas but try to limit these to lunch time. Yesterday, I tried my first Starbucks Refresher [Raspberry Pomegranate], and decided I like them a lot. Keep in mind these do contain soda water.

I had the Orange Melon with brunch this morning. Yes, I like them- however they do contain citric acid and of course because they are energy drinks, will probably keep me awake at night.
I am still searching for non-cola drinks, but recommend if you do not have my problems, give the Starbucks Refreshers a try. They are pretty good.
