I had so many items [i.e., strawberries, whipping cream] leftover from my birthday that I am still trying to get rid of the them. Yesterday, I whipped up the remainder of the heavy whipping cream with the immersion blender. I used sugar and flavoring and topped strawberry shortcakes. This morning, I also used the whip cream in my espresso rather than half and half.

If you don't have an immersion blender and are thinking of getting one-- check out the type that comes with bowl attachment. It is great for mixing up heavy whipping cream. I stored the whole thing in the fridge and though this evening the cream had lost some of its volume- the taste was still great.
I normally use can whipped cream on strawberry shortcake-- but found the whipping cream just as good if not better. I like the bowl because I can mix it all at once instead of a little bit at a time in the cup that also came with my Braun Blender. This Cuisinart is similar to the one I have.
As you can see I have been eating [and drinking] sweets all day. Not much else going on. Researching a legal issue and downloading forms.
